riding riding riding on a donkey's back to Jerusalem.
The donkey moseys to Jerusalem, the slow and steady and faithful gate that you can even hear when Michelle sings it. You want to follow the donkey.
And we have found that I am the donkey sometimes.
And it's about the humble way you carry the Lord. the unpretty the meek, the innocent way that a donkey makes it. And it's not about knowing the answers or having the right foot even in the beginning. But it is about listening to where the LOrd gently pushes you, (...this way....a-a-a: not this way, that way).
And it's about the dearness of the donkey that had never been ridden before that Jesus knew was waiting in a town. And Jesus needed the donkey. And he rode it in, and it went so smoothly, the path straight, going steadfastly. And the people crying, throwing their garments down.
what happens when they see someone carrying the Lord. when you let the Lord ride you. when you so meek just let him. For they put Jesus on the donkey.
put.
Yesterday. a break down on the phone with the Cliff. A cut-off conversation. He upset, let down....Me learning this. wanting to repair. Mad. He's got to go.
Call waiting. A Godmother.
She was about to record the donkey song and the song was coming out wobbly.
And donkey of molly was wobbly. and struck. not liking this land. not fruit coming. timing. when i was ready he denied. when he was ready I denied. shutting down and detrement in heart. I was lost in the little woods.
We read the word. arriving and reaching for me:
"O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down: you are familiar with all my ways....
Search me, O God, and know my heart: test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" Psalm 139
This is my prayer, see if there is an offensive way and lead me in the way everlasting.
Take me in your way.
I was stumbling. when another a person closed the door, turned. stranger. This will happen.
lead me in the way everlasting.
